1965 mustang coupe, purchased new on 8-8-64, original ownership papers come with the car. Vin # 5R07C126549.  V-8 and automatic transmission, and desirable console.  95897 miles on odometer (unconfirmed).  ALL PARTS REMOVED FROM THE CAR WERE PLACED INSIDE THE CAR, as part of the restoration.  Being partially stripped is good because one can really see the car as to its good condition. 1968 Mustang Fastback.  A cancer free, garaged, car from North Carolina that has never been wrecked. It is a partial resto-mod with significant handling improvements including 18" wheels on after market suspension (listed below) making it handle like a modern car.  Odometer shows 05889 and the 289" engine has 40K miles on it including  the C-4 automatic transmission.  This 1968 mustang fastback has power steering and front disc brakes and drives, handles, and performs great.  The engine has newer plugs and wires plus electronic ignition.  A/C installed and charged but controls need to be routed properly to work.  Interior re-done 5 years ago and in excellent shape, little to no wear on carpet and seats.  Original gauges and dash, everything works but chrome pitted somewhat on dials, bezels and other interior bits. Light blue paint is about 10 years old.  The metal flake in the paint still makes this car's beautiful  vibrant finish look like new and really stands out in the sunlight.  The car was delivered to the Houston, Texas district when new, then went to central Florida, to North Carolin and to Cleveland, Ohio 3 years ago.  It has been garaged and has not seen winter.  This is a reliable, safe and excellently maintained head turner that could drive cross country tomorrow.   Pop a roll cage in and hit the autocross if you want but this car has never been raced, just enjoyed on Sunday afternoon drives.  Receipts for everything available and can provide pictures from any angle upon request.
